RVU - Fuel pressure sensor replacement (CL / 24M4)

This RVU has been proactively released to prevent the following condition from occurring in the vehicle:
MIL on and DTC P310B and/or P129F stored in the ECM data memory.
This Required Vehicle Update (RVU) is in effect for 15 months from date of publication. After that date, this RVU will expire and no longer be in effect.
Vehicle must meet all of the following criteria:
• Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the CL/24M4 code in the ElsaWeb Campaign/Action Information screen on the day of repair.
• Vehicle must be within the Limited New Vehicle Warranty.
• Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Service Bulletin.
• Procedure must be performed on applicable vehicles in Dealer inventory prior to sale.
Technical Background
A malfunction of fuel pressure sensor G410 (low pressure side) may cause an incorrect fuel pressure reading from the ECM.
Production Solution
Improved fuel pressure sensor G410 (low pressure side).
Replace fuel pressure sensor G410 (low pressure side). See ElsaWeb for component location.
Installation torque:
• 15 Nm , 2.0 TFSI engine
• 22 Nm , 4.2 V8 FSI and 5.2 V10 FSI engine
Note: To prevent damage to the engine cover in A3 and TT models, the engine cover stops must be removed in the sequence illustrated in Figure 1.
